Plasma and the Mobile Home Park

Mel and I rolled into a mobile home park for a night’s stay while traveling in the camper. It’s a Sunday afternoon and everyone is having a big party. There are people by the swimming pool and pool in the halls of the main building. I have to go to the bathroom and by the time I get out, Mel and I get separated.

There are residences in the main building and I walk into one and sit down with a woman at here dining room table. She’s a larger woman, probably in here early 50’s, with short dark hair. She seems like your average household mom. She has a machine sitting on the table and she tells me that she needs to take her plasma. She asks me if I know how to do this, and I tell her that I don’t but that my partner is an LVN, a nurse, and that he knows how to do it. I tell her that I’m going to find him and bring him back.

I walk out of her flat and proceed down the hall looking for Mel. I search in the bathroom stalls, but they’re all empty. I walk back out into the hall and hear a woman call me name. I follow the direction of the voice and find her standing next to Mel who’s sitting at a table with packages sitting in front of him. He tells me that he bought a couple of kites. I’m thinking, great, to go along with the 4 other kites you have that you don’t fly. I look at one of the packages and it’s a kite of words. I think it reads, “Don’t Mess with Me”, but I can’t recall exactly what it read. It was kind of funny to see a kite of words. I tell him about the plasma woman.

Interesting that earlier in the day was the joke with the owner of Lou’s about the Plasma Mary which is the blended version of a Bloody Mary with bacon.
