Programming Humans

I’m with a woman who is in charge of a programming project to create a virtual world. It doesn’t seem to be and incredibly large world so there aren’t that many people but they’re creating each person individually with their own set of procedures. I’m trying to convince her to do an OOP approach where every human is getting a super set of instructions and then the individualistic features can be added on later. It’s taking a while to do this and some programmers are complaining that it’s taking too long and she considering cutting the OOP approach and going back to procedural. I’m convincing her of this OOP approach with anecdotes, but it’s difficult.

I’m driving along in a countryside looking at homes in the daylight. We’re buying one and we’re with the real estate agent. I don’t see him as all I see are the homes. We have the money to do this and we’re happy about the move but we’re a little concerned with the economy or something that I’m having a hard time putting my finger on.

I’m riding toward a destination on a skateboard or something like that at night. It’s dark and I’m going against traffic but I’m almost there.

Thoughts: The countryside is the same place where there is an old country store and apartments on the corner where I’ve lived in dreamland.
